The Weight of Two Worlds

Olivia Mensah-Kamara is larger than life, with a heart and wisdom to match. A mother of seven, former broadcast journalist, and political prisoner in Sierra Leone, Olivia emigrated to Tasmania after surviving years in a Ghanaian refugee camp. Now, she navigates the daily challenges of raising her children in a vastly different culture.

As she juggles her drive to rebuild her career with the immediate pressure to feed and house her family, she carries an invisible burden: her two brothers, still trapped as refugees in Ghana and unable to gain asylum in Australia. What will it take for Olivia to finally feel settled?
